Fake Banana Split

3D Design Class: choose a luxury item and reproduce it using any type of material so it looks like the real thing. I did a banana split.

Here's what it's made of:

dish - wire and aluminum foil base covered in sculpey, sanded, spraypainted and spray glossed.

bananas - blue foam covered in spackling compound, and painted with acrylic. insides are glossed.

ice cream - cell-U-clay (paper mache) with added food coloring and painted.

whipped cream - crayola model magic clay, spray glossed

syrup - gloss medium and acrylic paint

strawberries - crayola model magic, acrylic painted and glossed

cherry - sculpey, painted and glossed, painted wire for the stem
