Stereograph - Big Mac by alanbecker Stereograph - Big Mac by alanbecker
You have to cross your eyes until you see three images. The middle image is the one that will be in 3D. Let your eyes relax until the middle image comes into focus.

This one's extreme. More 3D than usual.

Yay I haven't done this in a while. I even forgot about stereographs until now haha. Well, it was a little difficult focusing on this one, but to anyone having problems, if you haven't tried it before it won't be so easy, but at least make sure you're in a good distance from the screen, so that you're not too close. I find that it's easier the further away I am (of course, not too far or the picture is too small). Also you can just google some stereographs and try with some simpler ones first like this one [link]

And, alanbecker, smart taking two photos from different angles, it does give it a more 3D effect than usual. You know it would really cool if we could make these sort of images without having to cross our eyes to see it. And then imagine making a whole movie like that. Well I guess we'll get there at some point.

thanks! this image in particular is maybe taking 3D a little too far in my opinion, but a little less than this is perfect. That's the issue, it's so hard for people to see, I guess when everyone gets a 3D monitor within 10 years we'll be able to see these freely, but by then these pictures will be boring cuz everything's 3D. I looked into making prism glasses that cross your eyes for you, that way at least my friends won't have to cross their eyes.
