I actually did this in my sophomore year of high school. I still love it. I took many photos when I visited the Hudson River in January. I took the best parts of three photos and combined them in this painting. One photo had the background trees, one had the foreground branches, one had the sweet frozen water texture. Really hard to paint. Acrylic on board.

There is some great detail in this, man.
You should try to scan a sharper resolution image, because that will do your picture more justice. :)

Hmmm acrylic on board, literally a board? I like to try different things, lol.

By the way, amazing masterpierce. It does looks like the texture for the frozen water is hard, but it was worth it.
